TE KORIPI
Te Koripi Backing Fabric design meaning: Celebrating Māori; from Māori and Polynesian myths and legends.
Based on the O Maui design from New Zealand. Te Koripi Backing Fabric has what appears to be Māori inspiration in the blacks and whites with sweeping curves in blacks and whites with corresponding thin lines, dots, and diamonds of the opposite colours. Reminiscent of the Māori tattoos seen on the All-Blacks sports teams of male and female and Māori warriors
The foreground has beautiful sweeping lines enveloping the black background of heart shapes, fleur di lis, with sumptuous colours in various shades of Yellow, pink, blue, purple, oranges, burnt orange, lavender, teal, black, white, red, green, lime green.
